x3AM FilmZx: Much better than your last video. You still really need to work on hitting beats. You are still missing most of them. The cropping was nice but when you crop the whole point in my opinion is to remove all the extra stuff from the video like the WWE logo or hashtags. You need to make sure not to use clips that show half of the nameplates on them, you did it twice that I saw and it hurt the video both times. If you feel like you must use those specific clips then try keeping the same aspect ratio and zooming in a touch on those clips. it gives you the same clip but the nameplates will be cut out by your normal cropping. The song fit really well. The black and white on the outside effect you used, I feel like it was intended to put more focus on the two in the ring fighting than their surroundings. However, the effect just left me distracted and constantly glancing over at the random black and white spots. The intentions were good but it was ultimately a fail in my eyes. Overall it wasn't a horrible video or a great video, more average than anything.
SEM: You did a nice job with your cropping, but if you were going to make the whole video without any extra logos on it, then why did you use the clip in the Seth Rollins vs Kane match that had a huge hashtag on it. It just hurt the video to me. Obviously a song that matches some kind of mood of the PPV is a nice touch but unnecessary, so I won't hold that against you. The timing was nice overall. The biggest mistake and problem I had with this video was the constant amateur mistake of not cutting cleanly. There are multiple points throughout the video where you can see a quick flash of another clip that you cut out. I've been there and had that mistake in my videos before, but never so many in one video. Definitely try to work on that for future videos.
Winner: x3AM FilmZx's video had a much better story being told with a better mood and song. However, SEM's video was overall the much better edited of the two. So the winner in my view is SEM.
